Vermont beer lovers – this one’s for you.

Vermont is a mecca of microbreweries – currently, the Vermont Brewers Association lists 51 craft brewer members, making VT once again the state with the highest number of craft breweries per capita in the U.S.).

Lucky for us, that means we have what feels like infinite choices for serving up unique, distinctive, and delicious brews in our Tavern and Dining Room while also supporting fellow local businesses.

Our selection changes frequently, but we love talking about what’s on tap at the Tavern at Edson Hill!

Von Trapp Brewing  – A local brewery doing good things. We’re happy to serve these traditional Austrian beers that are brewed on-site at the famous Trapp Family Lodge right here in Stowe, VT.

Featuring year-round and seasonal styles, their carefully crafted brews are high on flavor and quality. And since the completion in 2015 of their new 30,000 sq. ft. brewery, they are now capable of producing up to 50,000 barrels of beer annually, so there’s always a fresh new variety to sample at the Tavern.

Hill Farmstead Brewery – It’s understandable why this brewery (and the special beer they brew) in Greensboro Bend, VT has a cult-like following.

After coming in the number 2 slot in 2014, Hill Farmstead was named best brewery in the world for three consecutive years (2015, ‘16, & ‘17) by RateBeer. They beat out over 22,500 other brewers to claim the title!

Currently, we are proudly offering two selections, each expertly crafted just about an hour away on the former dairy farm in the Northeast Kingdom. Visit us at the Tavern and give both a try; you won’t be sorry!

Lawson’s Finest Liquids – Newly distributed to Stowe, VT. We generally rotate between two of Lawson’s popular offerings – Sip of Sunshine and Super Session #2. Both choices are light and refreshing, making them perfect for the warmer months ahead.

Lawson’s is the product of a husband and wife team that started to sell to the public in 2008 after 20 years of homebrewing.

Several of their varieties have won awards at World Beer Cup, Great American Beer Festival, and at two National IPA championships. We think Lawson’s brews stand alone as a delicious beverage, and pair wonderfully with our food.

Ten Bends Beer  – Two friends and a shed in the woods in Vermont are at the humble beginnings of the new Ten Bends Brewery in nearby Hyde Park.

They currently offer ales that are “inspired by the unique nature of Vermont.” We love most things inspired by our home state and are proud to be able to serve up great beer brewed by good people.

It’s a luxury to serve a quality beer that is brewed less than half-an-hour from our front door!

We’d love for you to come by and give these unique local beers a taste, and let us know what you think. We also offer a full menu in both our Tavern and Dining Room, plus our carefully selected wines and cocktails.
