When faced with the restoration and redesign of Edson Hill, the new owners were committed to honoring the historic integrity of the property but wanted to incorporate modern conveniences and sophisticated charm. They called on Susan Stacy Design, a Boston-based interior design firm, with a portfolio of award-winning projects across the globe including high-end homes, yachts, and country clubs. Susan Stacy brought experience, creativity, and talent as well as the enthusiasm that would be required to meet the challenge to transform Edson Hill.

Susan, a New Englander and passionate skier, along with her seasoned team, worked to transform the interiors of Edson Hill giving its guest rooms, manor house, and tavern a sophisticated yet warm feeling.

The results are livable, comfortable, and modern, with a gentle nod to the past; earning Susan Stacy Design and Edson Hill critical acclaim for design, comfort, and unique touches, for both accommodations and service.
