Meet our talented Executive Chef, Jason Bissell!
A Vermont native, Jason grew up in a small farm community where he became inspired to cook with local ingredients to create delicious, seasonal dishes. Since starting in the restaurant business, Jason strived to work in the best kitchens and surround himself with top chefs in Vermont and on the West Coast. Returning to Vermont with the goal of becoming a chef himself, Jason spent seven years under the tutelage of renowned chef and friend, Michael Kloeti, at his lauded Waterbury, VT restaurant, Michael’s on the Hill. From there, Michael presented Jason with the opportunity to become the Head Chef at Idletyme Brewing Company in Stowe, VT where he rebuilt their food and beverage program with great success.
Jason joined Edson Hill in June 2017 and the feedback is consistently positive for the creativity and masterful execution of his dishes.
