We’re fast approaching the winter cross-country skiing and snowshoeing season here at peaceful Edson Hill in the beautiful Green Mountains. The Nordic Center
Our newly-renovated Nordic Center supplies visitors with professional equipment, guided tours, and private lessons. You’re, of course, encouraged to bring your own gear, but our first-class Rossignol skis, boots, poles, and MSR snowshoes are also available to rent. All of our PSAI-certified Nordic skiing instructors share engrossing local history and important skills during private lessons and guided tours. The Best Trails at Edson Hill
Each Stowe VT cross-country skiing trail at Edson Hill has been professionally groomed by our Yamaha four-wheeler, which is equipped with a six-foot Tidd Tech trail tenderizer. We currently have 18 cross-country trails on our 38-acre property that range in both size and scenic beauty. Consult our up-to-the-minute map to piece together a daily itinerary, or simply start meandering through our well-groomed white powder. The challenging 2.1-kilometer Catamount Trail pushes up into the northerly Green Mountains. The Juneric Plunge, which is exceptionally beautiful after a fresh snowfall or hoarfrost, cuts deep into the bright wilderness. Many young outdoor enthusiasts love to explore the onsite pond and “Guest House Alley.” There’s enough square milage at Edson Hill to keep you busy for an entire week!
