Sarah & Dixon | September 18, 2021 –
Sarah + Dixon’s Vermont wedding was filled with warm smiles and marvelous energy from beginning to end. Despite it being Edson Hill’s largest wedding of the season, the little things are what most of us remember from the newlyweds special weekend. Tons of minute touches and personal details carrying a beekeeping theme, combined with a white and green floral color scheme with light touches of muted rose, tan, and peach from Blossoming Bough accented one another perfectly for their gorgeous wedding weekend in September; Stowe, Vermont’s best month.
The amateur apiarists welcomed their guests to their rehearsal dinner with honey lollipop escort “cards”, and found their seats with these beehive place cards created by a family friend. Saturday’s specialty cocktail? A Bee’s Knees of course! the father-of-the-groom kicked off the couple’s special weekend with a warm welcome toast on the Dining Room patio before the couple and their closest family and friends sat down to enjoy their Rehearsal Dinner before taking on the town of Stowe for their official Welcome Party.
The bride-to-be began her picturesque wedding day with her closest girlfriends; mimosas and breakfast on the patio amidst overlooking the lush green Worcester range, then it was off to hair and makeup by the one and only H Studio. The groom and his groomsmen exchange laughs while reminiscing over lunch in The Tavern as their boutinieres were intricately detailed as their tailored suits hung from every angle.
While S + D finished their final touches for their family portraits, guests populated at the Edson Hill meadow to see what was one of the most majestic tents of the summer, brought to us by the Vermont Tent Company. Inside the dreamy white tent-lined long, cedar wood-stained dining tables are accented perfectly with burnt oranges, whites, and greens for a soft, classy finish. Intricate green smilax vine festooned the tent canopy in unison with bright market lights creating a magical summer wedding scene.
Guests were ushered into the reception via a Surprise New Orleans Style Parade led by the Love Revival Orchestra and immediately kicked the party off with an energetic full dancefloor before commencing the reception dinner. The couple had an epic sparkler exit from their reception and led their guests to the after-party at Edson Hill’s Tavern.
