Total Eclipse On The Hill
Join us at Edson Hill on April 8, 2024, when Stowe will experience the rare astronomical phenomenon of “totality” of the solar eclipse, causing day to turn to night starting at 3:26 pm and will last for 2 minutes and 48.1s. The expansive, clear skies over our secluded 38-acre retreat present an unparalleled opportunity to observe the eclipse without the interference of city lights or pollution. Our location amidst the rural beauty of Vermont ensures that you can watch the sky darken and stars appear in the midday sky, an extraordinary celestial phenomenon associated with a total solar eclipse. Each of our guests will receive a pair of ISO Certified eclipse viewing glasses. Plan ahead, as rooms will sell out for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
