It was love at first sight for Venetia & Pat when they found Edson Hill after an extensive search for a Vermont wedding venue. The busy duo traveled up to Stowe to visit the quintessential Vermont getaway and knew right away that the private 38-acre estate was the perfect match for their wedding dreams.

Venetia & Pat’s wedding weekend fell in the height of the Vermont summer; lush shades of Edson Hill greens and blooming flower gardens filled every angle. The dreamy landscape, topped off by the New England sunshine, made for a perfect welcoming to begin the weekend’s festivities. The celebrations began on Friday evening on the Upper Patio, where V + P gathered for a Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party with their closest family and friends.

Warm smiles and laughs filled the Tavern Patio during cocktail hour as the sweet couple mingled between their loved ones. Guests stayed hydrated while enjoying some signature Vermont beers and Edson Hill cocktails and passed appetizers. The pair took every step in stride as they made their way to the Upper Patio to sit down for dinner where the Father-of-the-Groom gave the official Welcome Toast. You could feel the excitement, love and gratitude from the bride, the groom, and their loved ones as they made memories into the late Vermont summer evening before the big day.

The morning of July 23rd, 2022 can be described as the sunniest day in the height of the Vermont summer; so it was only right that the group had a massive inflatable swan as a wedding staple that made Edson Hill’s spring-fed pond home for the weekend. Venetia and her bridesmaids stayed cool in the Bridal Suite with a little help from Makeup by Flynn to prepare for the evening ahead.

While the ladies prepped, Pat and his groomsmen shared warm smiles and laughs over lunch in the intimate Edson Hill Tavern. While the bride and groom prepared for their first look, True Event and PEAK Event Services were hard at work putting the final tent touches together in the wedding meadow. With bright pops of purple and hints of orange, the florals from Jasper & Prudence brought everything together perfectly for the ceremony. The bright but clean aesthetic combined with beautiful printed materials by Tie That Binds was something out of a summer dream.

Venetia was truly a breathtaking bride; her stunning and sweet disposition radiated as she walked down the aisle in the wedding meadow to meet her husband-to-be. After their vows, the pair said I Do and made their love official before exiting the ceremony arbor together to This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) as they began their long-awaited celebration. The late July temperatures made for a perfect sunset as the couple and their guests danced the night away, thanks to the electric The Hudson Project band! The evening was intermixed with warm speeches and sentimental smiles before their sparkler exit up to the Tavern Patio for the after party.
