Casual Fine Dining at Edson Hill
A refined menu putting the focus on top-quality ingredients and rich flavor, and reflecting a culinary philosophy blending classic style and modern sensibilities, awaits both overnight guests and hungry visitors at Edson Hill.
From the firelit Tavern to the elegant Dining Room, our country inn offers a standout culinary experience combining plated-up perfection with lovely ambience amid a glorious Vermont mountainscape.
Exquisite small plates here include such delights as Burrata, Charred Octopus, Mushroom Barley Soup, and a Local Cheese Board for Two: all taste sensations in and of themselves, and also invitations to continue the Edson Hill epicurean journey with one of our larger plates.
Those more substantial entrées include Angel Hair Pasta & Scallops, Steak Frites, Herb-Roasted Statler Chicken, and Seared Duck Breast.
And then there’s the to-die-for coda of the meal: one of our Edson Hill desserts, which could take the form of Flourless Chocolate Tort, an Almond Tart, or some homegrown Vermont ice cream courtesy of Wilcox Creamery.

Enjoying Edson Hill’s Dining Room & Tavern
The Dining Room at Edson Hill is open Tuesday through Saturday from 5 to 9 PM. The same window applies to dining at our Tavern, which is by reservation only; the Tavern opens at 4 PM, though, for first-come, first-served pre-dinner drinks.
